living-in-society-today:

I read a book today. The main character was a 17 year-old girl named Sophie. She was in love with her best friend, Mina, but she also loved Mina’s brother Trev. Sophie was bisexual. Not once have a I read a novel where the main protagonist is bisexual. And this is the reason why I love this book. These humans aren’t recognized often in society. I give so much love and respect to the author.

Someone asked us:

Can Planned Parenthood provide hormones to transgender people? And if so, what are the costs?

Why yes, yes we do. There are an increasing number of Planned Parenthood health centers that offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for trans clients. (Cost will vary…

Unsure if they ceased offering these services and that’s why they aren’t included on this list, but Zak started out his transition at the Planned Parenthood in Lincoln, Nebraska. PP is a great, affordable option for those who have one that offers transition related care in their area.

I think this speaks for itself. Accepting a person doesn’t mean you get to put limits on their freedom. You can’t be an ally and want us to stop talking, or labeling, or demanding to be heard.

Acceptance has no exceptions. Period.

less “if you’re cis you shouldn’t use these pronouns” and more “hey if you feel good with those pronouns you’re probably not cis.”

help more people experiment with their gender and stop telling everyone who isn’t 100% sure of their transness that they’re cis.
